A lantern workshop in Kecheng district has been busy making red lanterns ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival celebrations, local media reported on Jan 16.

The workshop employs over 50 villagers and produces over 30 kinds of lanterns, including tradition paper lanterns and electric ones.

According to the factory owner, they received orders for over 500,000 lanterns, which will be delivered to neighboring provinces and cities.
