A total of 22 luggage and children's vehicle enterprises from Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, concluded their trip in Dubai, UAE on Dec 22.

They participated in the China (UAE) Trade Expo 2023 from Dec 19 to 21, which was the last of Pinghu's market expansion exhibitions this year, and aimed to open up the markets of countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. The enterprises received over 1,000 visitors and received nearly $32 million in intended orders.

The expo, large and professional, is held overseas by China, helping foreign trade enterprises take advantage of Dubai’s status as the largest transshipment port in the Middle East.

Pinghu also held a promotional meeting to introduce its investment environment to local business associations, free trade zones, and enterprise representatives. It highlighted its location, policies, services, and foreign investment.

Throughout the year, Pinghu incentivized foreign trade enterprises to participate in 78 exhibitions in traditional and emerging markets such as Japan, Germany, Indonesia, and the UAE.

The bureau said that in the new year, it will continue to organize exhibitions for enterprises and help foreign trade enterprises expand, obtain orders and build their brands.
