A postal cargo plane loaded with 17 metric tons of cross-border e-commerce goods departed from Yiwu Airport on July 16, heading to Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines. This marks the launch of China Post's first cargo mail route to Manila.

The Yiwu-Manila route is operated by China Postal Airlines using a Boeing B737-800F aircraft. Initially, flights are scheduled three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with plans to increase to five weekly flights depending on demand.

A representative from Yiwu Post stated that the new route will optimize the use of existing international cargo resources and capacity at Yiwu Airport. This will enhance the utilization of aircraft and parking resources, effectively reducing operational costs. The route aims to provide more convenient and efficient logistics services for Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce businesses.
