Shaoxing-based BrainAurora offering digital therapy
Zhejiang BrainAurora Medical Technology Co in Yuecheng district, Shaoxing, specializes in stimulating brain nerves to repair cognitive impairments.
Cognitive impairment affects learning, memory, and judgment. Currently, there are 15.07 million people with cognitive impairments in China.
Previously, treatment options in this field were limited. Digital therapy, a new treatment method that has emerged in the last five to six years, uses AI technology through games, videos, electrical currents, and magnetic fields to prevent, diagnose, manage, and treat diseases.
For example, simple games like digital mark elimination, enhanced by AI, can improve patients' attention span and concentration. Moreover, these therapies can dynamically adjust based on the patient's condition.
BrainAurora settled in Yuecheng district at the end of 2021. Its core product, the "Brain Function Information Management Platform Software System," has already commercialized treatments for eight indications across four major types of cognitive impairments. The company is also developing 21 additional indications. Four products have received regulatory approval, and five candidate products are in various stages of preclinical and clinical development.
