The Puyuan Fashion Resort in Tongxiang, a county-level city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, will host the China Finals of the 2024 Undiscovered Global Competition for Models and Designers on Aug 30.

The event is an official part of New York Fashion Week, marking a significant collaboration between the international fashion scene and China's fashion industry.

The competition brings together top designers and models from regional showcases across Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, Sichuan, and Hubei. Each region has selected three designers and 10 models, all set to compete in the China finals. The winners will advance to New York in September to represent China on the global stage.

The event highlights China's growing influence in the fashion world, providing a platform to showcase Chinese aesthetics and trends. The Puyuan Fashion Resort, known for its unique blend of international and traditional Eastern styles, is the perfect venue for this prestigious competition.

In addition to the competition, documentary director Ye Jiangtian will film the goings-on of designers and models during the event, showcasing Puyuan's rich culture and fashion.

The event will also be featured in New York's Times Square, while livestreams will be shown on various platforms by top fashion influencers.
