The Yiwu Art Museum unveiled a Russian contemporary oil painting and sketch exhibition on Dec 27, displaying 68 oil paintings and sketches from distinguished Russian artists.

The diverse collection spans landscapes, figures, and still life and highlights the allure and heritage of Russian art. Notable works by Soviet artists like Andrei Andreevich Mylnikov captivated many art enthusiasts.

At the opening ceremony, violinists serenaded the audience with classic Russian melodies including Katyusha.

The exhibition space's green walls created a tranquil atmosphere for visitors to feel the emotions and narratives depicted in art pieces. The striking piece Olympic Flame became a focal point of the display for its vibrant hues and visual impact.

Scheduled to run until March 2, 2025, the exhibition promises an opportunity for art lovers to explore the beauty and creativity of Russian contemporary art at the Yiwu Art Museum.
