Choucheng subdistrict of Yiwu — a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province — is set to host a special new year's celebration from Dec 31 to Jan 5, bringing together merchants, communities, and markets to offer a raft of fun activities to residents.

At Xiuhu Square, the new year celebration will unfold with interactive games, popular performances, and a cultural and creative products exhibition, each activity promising novelty and vibrancy for participants.

The International Food Block will transform into a bustling hub, offering not only delicious food from various countries but also a bus cruise and performances like a Spanish bullfight dance and a Brazilian samba.

Residents will have the opportunity to win gifts by participating in activities in the block.

Towns and subdistricts in Yiwu will present their agricultural products and crafts at a common prosperity fair.
