China will mark its 15th annual China Tourism Day on May 19, with activities from April 21 to May 31.

The main venue in Ningbo, Zhejiang province will be complemented by sub-venues across all provinces and regions in China, each hosting activities that reflect local cultural and natural attractions.

The event's highlights fall into five main categories: cultural and tourism benefits, inbound tourism promotion, publicity campaigns, cultured tourism, and consumer environment optimization.

Key initiatives include discounted tickets, promotional packages, and cultural performances to make tourism more accessible. Tourist services such as scenic spots, hotels, and travel agencies are encouraged to introduce special offers, while public cultural institutions will organize exhibitions and showcase intangible cultural heritage.

For international outreach, Chinese cultural centers and overseas tourism offices will collaborate with visa service centers to promote China's image abroad. Campaigns like "Hello, China!" will emphasize the nation's appeal to global visitors, with foreign travel agencies invited to explore Chinese destinations through familiarization tours.

China Tourism Day 2025 promises to celebrate the country's diverse heritage, inviting travelers to embark on unforgettable journeys that blend cultural richness and natural beauty.
