The 2025 China Tennis Tour CTA1000 Huzhou Open concluded on April 26 at the Huzhou International Tennis Center — the largest red clay tennis facility in Asia — located in Wuxing district, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
The event brought together 106 top tennis players from across the nation for six days of intense competition, featuring qualifying rounds, main draws, and the finals.
Spectators were treated to a display of athletic prowess as the players displayed their agility and skill with powerful serves, volleys, and overhead smashes. The enthusiastic crowd cheered every thrilling point, adding to the great atmosphere.
In the finals, Du Malanqi and Cao Yitao clinched the men's doubles title with a remarkable comeback, while Zhou Mingzhou emerged victorious in the men's singles. Liu Fangzhou excelled to win the women's singles championship, and Liu, paired with Zhuoma Ni Ma, secured the women's doubles crown.
Beyond the courts, the competition infused Wuxing district with a strong tennis spirit. The organizers incorporated Huzhou's culture and city charm into daily tennis-themed activities.
The Huzhou International Tennis Center boasts 18 tennis courts, including 14 red clay courts built to the highest international standards.
Liu Fangzhou, a dual champion, praised the venue's scale and excellent facilities, describing it as the best clay court complex in China.
