Zhoushan enterprises forge global partnerships at China-CEEC Expo

The fourth China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair, also known as China-CEEC Expo, concluded in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, on May 25.
Over four days, companies from Zhoushan in Zhejiang, not only secured major project agreements but also achieved notable commercial gains through their participation.
Focusing on the theme "New Visions for the Future", this year's expo emphasized professionalism and international engagement. During the 2025 "Investing in Zhejiang" Cooperation Promotion and Exchange Symposium, Zhoushan signed two major projects worth a total of 7.5 billion yuan ($1 billion).
Four local companies presented their products at the China-CEEC Expo. These enterprises secured intended orders worth around 1.2 million yuan on-site and attracted interest from a number of potential international buyers, opening up new avenues for overseas expansion.
Zhoushan's foreign trade has shown strong resilience this year, maintaining steady growth despite last year's high baseline.
From January to April, the city recorded a total import and export volume of 121.48 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8 percent year-on-year. Exports reached 40.54 billion yuan, up 1.9 percent, while imports climbed to 80.94 billion yuan, a 7.9 percent rise.
