A major agricultural product export signing ceremony was held on June 17 in Fushan township, Qingtian county, Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, marking a pivotal step in the region's global strategy.

During the ceremony, the Qingtian Association in Germany, Fuma Group, Qingtian Fushan Ecological Economic Development Company, and Qingtian Xuande Royal Chrysanthemum Development Company signed contracts to export some of the county's premium products.

The initial shipment, including 30 boxes of 3,600 Qingtian Xuande's dried chrysanthemum flowers and 10 boxes of Fushan dried bamboo shoots, will be sent to Yiwu in Zhejiang and then distributed to the German market through the Qingtian Association in Germany.

"This shipment, valued at over 300,000 yuan ($41,724), not only opens new sales channels, but also enhances the international reputation of Qingtian's agricultural products," said Fu Hanhao, president of the Qingtian Association in Germany.

He emphasized the potential of using overseas resources to introduce more Qingtian's agricultural products globally.

The success was attributed to the recent 20th Anniversary of Qingtian Agricultural Heritage & Premium Agro-Products Export Promotion Event that recognized Qingtian Xuande as an agricultural export base, facilitating its international market access.

Qingtian, with its extensive network of 381,000 overseas residents who operate over 20,000 Chinese restaurants worldwide, aims to become a leading hub for exporting Chinese agricultural products.
