More than 20 students from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College West in Singapore visited the Jinhua Paper Cutting Museum in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on June 22.

Guided by museum curator Zhan Dongming, participants learned intricate techniques of Jinhua paper cutting, an intangible cultural heritage item, gaining hands-on insight into China's traditional artistry.

Zhou Guanzhi, leader of the ITE delegation, has been fascinated by paper cutting since his first trip to the museum in 2014. Since then, he brought student groups here every September.

The activity is part of the exchange program between ITE and Jinhua Technician College. This year they are adding a June session to the annual study tour — originally held only in September — due to positive feedback.

The students also visited local landmarks such as Youbu Ancient Town and the Jinhua Museum, to enjoy specialty cuisine and explore the history and culture of the city.
