The flower library created by Xu Zhufeng features over a thousand species of plants and has attracted attention for its natural landscapes and creative concept since opening in 2020.

Xu, a native of Haining, once worked as a landscape designer in an urban design institute. Longing for a lifestyle closer to nature, he returned to the countryside in 2014, leasing about 0.87 hectare of farmland to start his own botanical venture.

Over time, Xu developed a style that embraced nature's spontaneity. Unlike traditional flower farms, his fields are not neatly divided but instead reflect a more organic layout, where wildflowers and rare plants flourish freely. Inspired by visitors' interest in the scenery, Xu reimagined the space as a "library" where each plant tells a story.

The site now attracts tourists, photographers, and online vendors. Xu has also added goats, ducks, and rabbits to improve the visitor experience. On busy days, the farm receives over 400 tourism trips.

Xu plans to further develop the site into a space that blends environmental education, leisure, and cultural creativity.
