Huzhou sees surge in manufacturing exports to Central Asia

Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province saw its exports to Central Asian countries and regions reach 630 million yuan ($87.95 million) in the first five months of this year, with a 104.7 percent increase year-on-year, according to data from Huzhou Customs.

At Zhejiang Rongxinda Power Technology Company based in Huzhou, intelligent equipment operates at full capacity, producing photovoltaic bracket AI trackers destined for Central Asian solar projects.

As a green manufacturing enterprise, the company focuses on developing advanced technologies related to green electricity and energy storage and enhancing production efficiency and product quality through digital upgrades.

"Established in 2023, our company has achieved to export products to Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries and regions within a year, achieving export values in the tens of millions yuan," said Liu Peipei, foreign trade manager of Zhejiang Rongxinda.

Huzhou is actively strengthening industrial and trade ties with Central Asian countries and regions, which has led to significant business opportunities.

Zhejiang Tianhong Lithium-Ion Battery Company based in Huzhou is also expanding into the Central Asian market. Specializing in lithium battery modules for electric vehicles and energy storage, the company is responding to the increasing battery demand in the region.

According to Fei Ju, a representative from Zhejiang Tianhong, a batch of lithium batteries was recently exported to Kyrgyzstan for electric forklifts, with more orders anticipated later this year.
