Ningbo took center stage on July 14 during the China Pavilion's Zhejiang Week-Ningbo Day event at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan — unveiling its rich history, cultural innovation and industrial prowess.

In Ningbo's cultural exhibition area, timeless cultural treasures met modern-day presentations as digitally animated ancient scrolls, reconstructed ship models and Buddhist-themed exhibits offered a vivid glimpse into Ningbo's maritime heritage and spiritual ties with Japan.

The industrial exhibition area spotlighted technological breakthroughs in green energy, marine sustainability and digital computing. Local firms shared award-winning solar solutions, ocean waste recycling innovations and cutting-edge AR/VR technologies — reflecting the city's role in global industrial advancement.
