Zhejiang enterprises spotlight innovation at supply chain expo

The third China International Supply Chain Expo opened in Beijing on July 16 and will run until July 20. Thirty-five enterprises from East China's Zhejiang province are participating in the expo.
Themed "Connecting the World for a Shared Future", the expo features seven areas, focusing on advanced manufacturing, green agriculture, digital technology, healthy life, smart vehicles, clean energy, and supply chain service.
Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the expo features greater international participation than ever before.
A total of 651 companies and institutions from 75 countries and regions are attending, with overseas participation rising by 3 percentage points to reach 35 percent.
At the expo, Zhejiang has set up a special exhibition area at the digital technology section, featuring 13 innovative enterprises including NetEase and Hikvision.
Unitree Robotics, a company based in Hangzhou, brought its humanoid robot G1 and quadruped robot Go2. Zhang Hanzhi, the company's market development manager, said that as of 2024, the market share of its quadruped robot dogs had reached over 60 percent.
According to him, the company hopes to attract more partners and expand application scenarios for the robots through the expo.
Zhejiang Jiangnan Yaodu Pharmaceutical Company from Jinhua showcased products developed from medicinal herbs, such as a herbal tea drink, presenting a full industry supply chain from planting to product development.
Later on the opening day, a forum on the integration of technological and industrial innovation was held at Zhejiang's exhibition area. It focused on how digital technology drives supply chain innovation and included interactive displays of humanoid robots, naked-eye 3D technology, and other achievements.
