The English version of the documentary Across the Banks of the Tiaoxi River is being broadcast globally on China Global Television Network's Documentary Channel from July 15 to 17.
Located in East China's Zhejiang province, the Tiaoxi River flows through the city of Huzhou and then empties into Taihu Lake.
The documentary captures the contemporary life in Huzhou over a year, highlighting the daily lives of its residents and their perspectives on nature, society, urban and rural dynamics, and the intersection of history and modernity.
The CGTN Documentary Channel targets mainstream international audiences and enjoys a wide viewership across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
The English version of the documentary premieres at 5:00 am Beijing Time, with replays at 11:00 am, 5:00 pm, and 11:00 pm. It premieres the previous day in New York at 5:00 pm and in London at 10:00 pm. Viewers can also access the documentary via the CGTN website and app.
