The Jinhua Division finals of the Zhejiang Provincial City Basketball League, also known as "ZheBA", culminated at Jinhua Sports Centre Gymnasium as the team from Yongkang county-level city defeated the team from Wucheng district.

The champion will represent Jinhua in the second phase of the league — the City Championship — alongside a city-level joint team formed from top players across districts and counties.

The event sparked both sporting enthusiasm and economic activity. Inside the stadium, roaring cheers echoed for every basket; outside, residents and tourists gathered at a bustling carnival featuring local delicacies like the Jinhua crispy cake and the Lanxi jiziguo — a kind of egg cake filled with meat.

An exhibition zone displayed high-quality products highlighting Jinhua's manufacturing capabilities. Visitors also enjoyed test drives for over 40 new-energy vehicles. Resident Yang Meiwen said, "Basketball, food, shopping — both my eyes and stomach are satisfied."

Competition tickets became discount passes. Ticket holders can enjoy movie deals at 32 cinemas in Jinhua from July 19 to Aug 31. A total of 25 tourist attractions and 17 hotels citywide offer discounts on admission tickets, accommodation, and dining.

The excitement extended beyond the venue. A music season event began at the Huhaitang Park, which is near the Jinhua Sports Center, on July 19 and will last until Aug 20. It will feature band performances, a food market, and all-age sports events like basketball and football matches.
