Lishui GDP up 6.6% in first half of 2025
Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province has reported a solid economic performance in the first half of 2025, with its GDP reaching 107.6 billion yuan ($15.02 billion), representing a 6.6 percent increase year-on-year.
In the six months, the city's agricultural production remained stable, with the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries rising by 3.9 percent to 8.93 billion yuan.
In terms of industry, the mining and manufacturing sectors grew by 38.0 percent and 11.0 percent, respectively, while the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, and water decreased by 3.8 percent.
The service sector experienced accelerated growth, with its added value reaching 64.38 billion yuan, a 7.1 percent increase year-on-year — outpacing that of the first quarter by 0.4 percentage points.
In the first half, fixed asset investment in Lishui increased by 13.5 percent year-on-year, with project investment rising by 20.6 percent.
The total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 49.55 billion yuan, up by 5.7 percent year-on-year. In June alone, retail sales grew by 7.3 percent.
The per capita disposable income of all residents in Lishui reached 29,050 yuan in the first half, growing by 6.4 percent. Urban residents saw a 5.8 percent increase to 36,568 yuan, while the per capita disposable income of rural residents grew by 6.8 percent to 17,917 yuan.
