The third stop of the national tour for Shengshi Jiangnan — Exhibition of Innovative Works in Traditional Crafts opened in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on July 29.

Featuring 68 pieces (groups) of works in silk embroidery, ceramics, carvings, bamboo weaving, and other crafts, the exhibition offers a cultural experience blending tradition with creativity for visitors.

Over half of the exhibits are ceramic masterpieces, including Longquan Celadon works, Yue Kiln pieces, and locally rooted Wuzhou Kiln art. Lacquerwares, wood and stone carvings, as well as silk printing and dyeing art, show the exquisite craftsmanship of Jiangnan — the southern regions of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

There are also unique works like dolls made from corn husk, which originate from the American Indian tribes.

The exhibition is organized by the Guwuyaohuo Ceramics Culture Company, an intangible cultural heritage guardian dedicated since 2009 to reviving Wuzhou Kiln traditions by infusing contemporary designs.

Its cultural park offers a museum on Wuzhou Kiln, pottery studios, and experience spaces for visitors to immerse themselves in the Wuzhou Kiln culture. Founder Fang Yijin said, "We strive to weave artistry seamlessly into everyday experiences."

Recently, the company presented 14 pieces of jade celadon works at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Each piece embodies unique Chinese philosophy and design ideas, showing Chinese ceramics to the world.

The exhibition will run until Aug 14 in Jinhua before traveling to Ningbo and Guangzhou.
