Discover scenic beauty, culture of Changshan's villages in Quzhou

The 2024 Zhejiang Culture and Tourism Overall Ranking Awards Ceremony concluded on July 30 in Changshan county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, with Changshan earning a spot among "Zhejiang's Top 10 Treasure Counties".

Let's explore the rich charms of Changshan's Xidong village, Lulikeng village, and Fangcun village.

Xidong village, also known as the Xidong Fairy Tale Village, becomes a tourism hotspot in Changshan and features colorful houses and a towering Ferris wheel amid the lush landscape. The 66-meter-high Ferris wheel offers a breathtaking view of the vibrant village.

Lulikeng village focuses on rural art and outdoor leisure, with attractions like the Sanqu Daozhong Art Museum, the Sheepfold Cafe, and the Kiln Study there for everyone to enjoy.

The cafe, part of a repurposed quarry park, is housed in a converted sheepfold. Two towering kilns, once used for lime production, now serve as a reading space and a bakery.

Changshan boasts over 2,000 years of history in the plantation for oil-tea camellia trees. In Fangcun village, an industrial park that was transformed from an old bearings factory highlights traditional camellia oil pressing techniques, filling the air with a rich aroma.
