Huzhou claims four victories in ZheBA's City Championship

The Changxing County Sports Stadium, located in Changxing county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was ablaze with lights and echoed to the sounds of drums on the evening of Aug 23.
That's as Team Changxing faced off against Team Ningbo in the City Championship of the 2025 Zhejiang Provincial City Basketball League.
After a particularly hard-fought game, Team Changxing emerged victorious with an 87-84 win over Team Ningbo.
As the largest and most prestigious amateur basketball event in the province, the league — also known as "ZheBA" — is set to run from July 2025 to February 2026, including preliminary rounds and the City Championship.
Through the Huzhou division's preliminary rounds, the champion team, Team Changxing, and the city-level joint team, Team Huzhou, are representing Huzhou in the City Championship.
Huzhou's teams have now achieved four consecutive victories. In earlier games, Team Huzhou defeated Team Taizhou 72-67 on Aug 16, Team Changxing overcame Team Taizhou Bay New Area 78-70 on Aug 19, and Team Huzhou won against Team Yuyao 82-77 on Aug 21.
The game on Aug 23 was also a thrilling spectacle, with both teams demonstrating their great skills. Players fought valiantly on the court, while cheerleaders ramped up the energy levels. Fans from Ningbo and Changxing waved flags and cheered on their teams passionately.
