Young Sinologists from abroad explore Quzhou's culture

The International Young Sinologists Explore Quzhou event was held from Sept 4 to 7 in Quzhou city, East China's Zhejiang province.
Nearly 20 young Sinologists from 11 countries — including the United States, Italy, South Korea, Vietnam, and Cameroon — gathered in Quzhou. They explored the unique charms of the city's history and culture, gaining insights into the rich culture of Southern Confucianism.
Participants visited the Family Temple of Confucius in Quzhou and the Chinese Confucianism Museum, immersing themselves in Quzhou's deep-rooted Confucian culture.
They also strolled through the Shuitingmen Historical and Cultural Block, experiencing the city's historical ambiance.

At the Quzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, they experienced traditional crafts firsthand, delving into a vibrant world of local heritage. At the Quzhou Urban Exhibition Hall, they got a clear understanding of the city's development.
Additionally, participants visited Yudong village in Kecheng district, which is known as the Village of Farmer's Paintings, to see how cultural art revitalizes rural areas.
Beyond the field research, the visitors participated in significant events, including the opening ceremony of Quzhou's Southern Confucianism Cultural Tourism Season and the 2025 International Forum of Confucianism in Quzhou. They shared insights on modern significance and global promotion of Confucian culture.
