The 2025 World Internet Conference Light of Internet Expo opened in Wuzhen town, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 6, showcasing how artificial intelligence is transforming industries worldwide.
Among the exhibits, the digital innovation projects from Taizhou, Zhejiang, offered examples of AI's deep integration into manufacturing and agriculture.
At the expo's "Top 10 Debut Achievements" release event, the Qingyun SmartDrive from Taizhou's Luqiao district made its debut. The platform addresses the high cost and entry barriers facing motor manufacturers in digital transformation. It has already led more than 130 digital projects, and new cooperation agreements were signed with partners such as Huawei Cloud during the expo.
At another pavilion, Sanmen's booth drew attention with laser-marked Sanmen green crabs, connecting traditional aquaculture with modern AI technology. An AI monitoring system was developed to track crabs' conditions around the clock, especially during their fragile molting phase, providing early warnings and improving survival rates. Plans are underway to use robots and temperature-controlled systems for fully automated, year-round farming.
The expo features over 600 AI companies and more than 1,000 innovative products, offering visitors immersive experiences in AI art, gaming, and industrial applications — capturing the pulse of a rapidly evolving intelligent era.
