On Nov 6, the second day of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Jiaxing made significant strides in deepening open cooperation, actively engaging in project negotiations, global procurement, and presenting local elements.

At the Zhejiang Trade Group's signing ceremony, Jiaxing's China Jushi secured a $50 million procurement deal. Since the first CIIE in 2018, China Jushi has participated in the event every year, with total agreements exceeding $500 million, enhancing its influence in the global fiberglass industry.

Jiaxing teamed up with Deloitte for a dedicated promotion at the expo. The city's bureau of commerce and Deloitte signed a strategic cooperation agreement to boost investment promotion and improve the business environment.

The LEGO Group's booth at the expo featured an impressive 4.75-meter-tall installation, created with over 300,000 LEGO bricks by the Jiaxing factory's model production team and certified LEGO professionals, attracting significant attention.

Another highlight was the performance featuring Haining shadow puppetry, a national intangible cultural heritage item, while the play Havoc in Heaven drew large crowds, with cheers and applause resonating throughout the venue.

As of Nov 6, Jiaxing's delegation had achieved intended transactions exceeding $83 million, mainly in technology equipment, service trade, and food and agricultural products, with key clients from Europe, Japan, and New Zealand.
