Wang Xizhi

Wang Xizhi (303-361), a Chinese calligrapher, writer and politician who lived during the Jin Dynasty (265-420), is best known for his mastery of calligraphy.
Wang was a master of all forms of Chinese calligraphy, especially running script. Wang's masterpiece Lanting Xu (Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion) is generally considered the best-known work in Chinese calligraphy history.
