Shaoxing sees burgeoning cross-border e-commerce growth
Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, raked in 11.86 billion yuan ($1.87 billion) in cross-border e-commerce exports last year, up 20.64 percent year-on-year, local media reported on Feb 21.
Officials said that it is the first time that the figure has exceeded 10 billion yuan.
Since Shaoxing was approved to establish a national cross-border e-commerce comprehensive piloted area in 2019, the number of cross-border e-commerce company in the city has grown to be nearly 4,000.

In recent years, Shaoxing established a special customs supervision area in Keqiao to facilitate customs clearance.
Construction on cross-border e-commerce industrial parks are in full swing. Many industrial parks including the Keqiao Textile City Cross-Border E-Commerce Park, the Yuecheng Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park were founded.
Statistics showed that the city's cross-border e-commerce firms have 48 overseas warehouses in total, covering a combined area of over 200,000 square meters.
