The Shangyu Modern Aeroponics Farming Technology Demonstration Park in Shaoxing's Shangyu district features the use of aeroponics, a technique of growing plants in an air or mist environment without the use of soil or an aggregate medium, in uniquely shaped greenhouses.

The first-phase project of the demonstration park occupies an area of 84,000 square meters, and its construction is expected to be completed in July.

The park will use digital technology-empowered aeroponics and intelligent greenhouse techniques to cultivate melons and vegetables.
