The first sports meet for community gym members was held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province from Aug 8 to 9.

About 110 residents participated in the meet and took on challenges on treadmills and rowing machines.

Shaoxing has since 2020 operated 186 community gyms that are open to local residents for free.
