Zhejiang promotes the development of rural logistics industry
Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province recently released an action plan aimed at further promoting the development of the logistics industry in rural regions and narrowing the gap between logistics services in urban and rural area.
According to the plan, Zhejiang will strengthen basic guarantees and optimize county logistics network systems, promote the integrated development of rural area, implement digital reform, cultivate a rural logistics service brand and improve coordination between related departments.
In addition, a convenient and efficient county-level rural logistics service system will be formed by the end of 2025 and the level of digitalization and specialization of rural logistics will be improved.
A total of 11 bases for agricultural cold chain logistics, 33 cold chain logistics parks, and 100 cold chain logistics bases for storage and preservation of agricultural products will be built by the end of 2025. Zhejiang province will also cultivate more than 20 leading brand enterprises that provide rural logistics services. By the end of 2025, more than 200 passenger, freight and postal cooperation lines will be opened.
