Nearly 100,000 people in Shaoxing receive second booster shots
About 99,000 residents in Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, have been administered a second booster shot of a COVID-19 vaccine as the national vaccination campaign speeds up, according to an announcement made at a news conference on Shaoxing's work in epidemic control on Dec 24.
As of Dec 22, more than 15 million vaccine doses had been administered among people aged over three in Shaoxing, with over 5.5 million people fully vaccinated.
More than 1.1 million seniors aged 60 and over in the city have been vaccinated, with more than 1.06 million of them fully vaccinated, said somebody at the news conference.
