Over 160 companies from Shaoxing, Zhejiang province are attending the April 5-8 Vietnam Saigon Textile and Garment Industry Expo.

The Shaoxing Textile and Machinery Pavilion at the expo has attracted over $3.5 million in intended transaction volume.

According to an official from the Shaoxing bureau of commerce, Vietnam is one of China's main trading partners in ASEAN and an important market for Shaoxing’s foreign trade.

Since December 2022, Shaoxing has brought 53 delegations and representatives from 471 companies to participate in overseas exhibitions, with the intended transaction amount totaling about $160 million.

The official also stated that they will increase policy support for exhibitions and export credit insurance.
