A commercial complex at the north of the Shaoxing Ancient City is scheduled to open before the end of this year and is expected to become a new landmark for cultural tourism.

The commercial complex, spanning an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, is located near the former residences of Wang Xizhi, a renowned Chinese calligrapher, and Wang Yangming, a philosopher during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The city's Metro Line 1 also runs beneath it.

According to a director at the Shaoxing Cultural Tourism Group, the commercial complex is currently looking for businesses to move in. It has to date communicated with 182 brands, 65 of which have visited the site and 27 of which have confirmed their plans to open shops in the complex.

The commercial complex is designed to cater to diverse needs, combining shopping, dining, and cultural exploration.
