The 2023 Australia China Textile Clothing and Accessory Exhibition was held in Sydney, Australia from July 11 to 13, with 18 exhibitors from Shaoxing's Yuecheng district.

The exhibition focuses on clothing and home textiles and decorations. A total of 323 companies participated in the three-day exhibition, attracting more than 3,000 professional customers.

The Yuecheng district association for the promotion of international trade was one of the co-organizers of the exhibition and arranged for 18 companies from Shaoxing to participate.

As one of the first countries to become an effective member of China's Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, Australia is China's sixth-largest textile and clothing export market.

During the exhibition, the Yuecheng delegation received more than 500 customers on-site, generating $8 million in intended orders. As a first-time exhibitor, Shaoxing Yinglun Home Textiles Co, which specializes in pet supplies, was well received by Australian customers

"Next, Yuecheng will work to increase the participation of enterprises in exhibitions, financing, credit insurance and other services and competently organize key domestic and foreign exhibitions at home and abroad," said an authority with the Yuecheng district bureau of commerce.
