As the Hangzhou Asian Games draw near, Shaoxing's Boya Apparel Co is currently busy preparing awarding and flag-bearer outfits for the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games, along with 17,000 sets of uniforms for the volunteers, local media reported on Aug 1.

Boya Apparel is a company specializing in the customization, production, and sales of suits, coats, shirts, and formal attire. The company strives for digital application in clothing customization and intelligent production techniques. It has already applied for 87 patent technologies.

"Our AI intelligent measurement system allows precise size data collection through photos without the need for physical measurements. It also intelligently matches body types, significantly improving custom production efficiency and accuracy," said Li Yajian, the company’s chairman.

The advantages of digital design coupled with the recognition of being an Asian Games dressmaker have led to a notable increase in the company's orders recently, according to Li.

"An enterprise capable of producing Asian Games outfits will inspire greater trust in terms of quality. In the upcoming bidding for several large-scale garment projects, this recognition will be an added advantage," Li said.

Such experience enhances the company's ability to align with international standards and provides valuable insights for future custom clothing projects related to major events.

"Becoming an official supplier for the Hangzhou Asian Games is a starting point for us. It instills us with greater confidence for internationalization and opens up endless possibilities for the future," Li added.
