The inauguration ceremony of Xinchang's High-End Sci-Tech Innovation Park took place in Xinchang county, Shaoxing, on Aug 7.

The park received a total investment of approximately 1.4 billion yuan ($194.4 million), covers an expansive area of 200,000 square meters, and is involved in talent incubation, technological research and development, innovation services, and industry nurturing.

The project is being built in two phases. Construction on the first phase commenced in June 2021and includes facilities such as the Comprehensive Service Building, Research Buildings 2 and 3, R&D Buildings 4-7, and Research Institute Service Building 8. The second phase, covering about 90,000 square meters, is slated to commence early next year.

The exhibition hall of the park's "Innovation Services Cloud Center" opened on the same day. The hall offers comprehensive, full-cycle, and holistic services for enterprises and talent.

Since its launch in May, the hall's online application platform has witnessed a 100-percent onboarding rate among the county's large-scale enterprises, while achieving an over 99-percent completion rate for various tasks. The average task completion time has been reduced from seven days to two days.
