China Textile City ranks second among China's top 100 markets
The 13th China Commodity Market Summit convened in Yiwu, Zhejiang on Nov 8, unveiling the comprehensive ranking of China's top 100 commodity markets.
China Textile City in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, secured the impressive second position on the list. With 33 commodity markets from Zhejiang making the list, the province continues to dominate, claiming one-third of the total spots and maintaining its national lead.
The comprehensive ranking takes into account various factors, including the market's hardware infrastructure, the degree of software standardization, service orientation, and overall capabilities. It is derived from a nationwide survey, considering indicators such as scale, management personnel, income, and profits.
China Textile City in Shaoxing, with its new positioning as the "International Textile Capital," has strategically focused on five major areas, including digital market construction, intelligent logistics development, and overseas investments.
In 2022, it achieved 167.4 billion yuan ($22.94 billion) in transactions, with products reaching 206 countries and regions.
