The "2023 Annual Zhejiang Private Enterprises Top 100 List" revealed that Shaoxing's private enterprises have demonstrated their prowess with 10 companies securing a coveted spot on the list.

This impressive achievement places Shaoxing as the third-largest contributor to the prestigious ranking in the entire province.

The listed enterprises, predominantly engaged in manufacturing and construction, have consistently shown resilience and steady growth in both operational performance and profitability over the past three years.

Hailiang Group clinched the fifth position in the provincial ranking. The company is currently advancing the construction of its "Future Factory" project, an intelligent manufacturing industrial park, set to commence operations by the end of next year.

Once operational, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 188,000 tons of precision copper alloy tube fittings, contributing an estimated annual sales revenue exceeding 40 billion yuan ($5.57 billion).

In recent years, Hailiang Group has diversified its activities across three core sectors: education, non-ferrous metal material intelligent manufacturing, and ecological agriculture.

To further support the flourishing private sector, the Shaoxing government introduced the "Several Measures to Vigorously Promote the Optimal Development of the Private Economy in Shaoxing" in a comprehensive document consisting of seven major sections and 33 specific measures.

Addressing concerns of private economic entities related to market access mechanisms, bidding environments, resource guarantees, innovation ecosystems, and service supervision, the policies provide essential support to address practical challenges faced by enterprises.
