Following the successful conclusion of the Asian Games and Asian Para Games, the five Asian Games venues in Shaoxing have outlined their next steps for sustainable development.
The Shaoxing Olympic Sports Center, as the first venue to complete its transformation, has successfully hosted numerous national and provincial-level events.
In addition to sports competitions, the venue has diversified its offerings by hosting concerts and other large-scale events, enriching the cultural life of the local residents.
The Keqiao Textile City Sports Center Gymnasium has introduced the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league, catering to the demand for sports viewing and injecting new vitality into the local basketball scene and sports industry.
The Yangshan Rock Climbing Center has established itself as an international rock climbing-themed park, bringing a fashionable sporting lifestyle to residents. According to statistics from October 2023, before and after the Asian Games, the climbing center opened its doors to the public, attracting over 10,000 people to experience the sport.
The Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Culture Center has become the largest in scale domestically, top-tier in Asia, and in compliance with international competition standards for baseball and softball venues.
Through hosting various competitions, the center actively promotes the atmosphere of baseball and softball, contributing to the city's reputation as the "City of Chinese Baseball and Softball." Simultaneously, the venue serves as a crucial base for professional baseball and softball teams for both competitions and training.
