Zhejiang province's actual utilization of foreign capital exceeded $ 18.93 billion in the first 11 months of this year, accounting for 12.6 percent of the national total and ranking fourth in China, according to the province's Department of Commerce.

The amount utilized in the manufacturing industry in particular has grown rapidly, with a year-on-year increase of 90.9 percent, accounting for 46 percent of the total foreign investment.

In 2023, Zhejiang has made strong efforts to promote global investment and attract advanced manufacturing projects as well as the world's top 500 corporations to set up headquarters in the province.

Meanwhile, it has also been working hard to establish and upgrade an online platform for investment promotion to improve services for foreign-funded enterprises.

In the next few years, Zhejiang is expected to focus on projects related to the extension and supplementation of the industrial chain to attract investment from enterprises in emerging markets.
