The 2024 Shaoxing Chinese New Year Goods Festival kicked off at the Shaoxing Olympic Sports Center on Jan 18, drawing enthusiastic crowds.

The stalls featured an array of offerings, including soy sauce-marinated pork, braised chicken feet, and various unique agricultural products.

Visitors at the Xinchang Tianmu Roasted Goods Factory booth eagerly indulged in products like peanuts and walnuts, reflecting the festival's appeal.

Shi Yueping, overseeing the booth, remarked, "The festival provides an excellent platform to showcase our high-quality products," underscoring their sustained popularity throughout the day.

The agricultural expo adopted a comprehensive approach by integrating both online and offline elements. The online platform, encompassing the Shaoxing Pavilion and themed pavilions for districts and counties, boasted the participation of over 550 entities.

Meanwhile, the offline exhibition hall, spanning 8,400 square meters, hosted 280 agricultural enterprises, presenting nearly 1,500 distinctive products.

In recent years, Shaoxing has strategically prioritized industry growth to drive rural revitalization and enhance farmer income.

Official statistics highlight the successful establishment of 10 recognized specialty agricultural product areas and nine provincial demonstration agricultural industry chains, contributing to an annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan ($139.1 million).
