Xinchang county in Shaoxing hosted the General Intelligent Robotics Industry Development Conference on March 22.

According to the "Xinchang County General Intelligent Robotics Industry Development Plan" unveiled during the event, Xinchang aims to establish one national-level innovation platform, foster ten leading enterprises, and reach a cluster output value of 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion) by 2027.

The plan outlines Xinchang's transformation into a key production base for general intelligent robot components, a hub for collaborative innovation, and a showcase for innovative applications.

During the conference, Xinchang unveiled the Industrial Chain Innovation Center, Intelligent Component Technology Innovation Center, and an industrial fund for intelligent robots.

"The establishment of these innovation centers will facilitate direct cooperation between industry experts, research institutions, and enterprises, driving both scientific research and industrial development," said an authority with the Xinchang county government.

With over 600 bearing manufacturing enterprises, Xinchang is well-equipped to produce key components such as reducers, actuators, and joint components for the general intelligent robotics industry.

Xinchang's proactive approach in targeting the robotics market underscores its commitment to injecting new quality productive forces into traditional industries.
