The newly opened "Yunheli Opera House" in Yuecheng district, Shaoxing, offers visitors a charming venue to enjoy tea and traditional performances.

With its two-story design and capacity for over 80 guests, the elegant space blends Shaoxing's rich operatic heritage with a relaxed cultural experience.

Despite being home to five major forms of opera, including Yueju and Shaoxing operas, the city has long lacked a dedicated venue of note.

The opera house aims to change that by giving visitors an inviting place to slow down, stay longer, and experience local culture — particularly in the evenings. With tea service and live performances, it promises a uniquely immersive experience.

To celebrate its opening, Yunheli Opera House is offering discounts through February and March, with performances available at 10 percent off.
