A new import clearance model has officially been implemented in the Shaoxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone, with the first import declaration completed in just one minute under the optimized procedures.

Shaoliu Cloud Supply Chain Management Co Ltd, based within the zone, declared a batch of cross-border e-commerce cosmetics using the streamlined system. The goods were automatically released one minute after submission, marking the city's first successful customs declaration under the reformed process.

According to Shaoxing Customs, the reform builds on the earlier "two-step declaration" model and introduces a unified, more intuitive interface. By integrating separate declaration modules into a single-entry point, the system simplifies enterprise operations and enhances customs efficiency.

As a major hub for foreign trade in Zhejiang province, Shaoxing — especially its comprehensive bonded zone — has seen rapid growth in cross-border e-commerce and bonded logistics. The sector requires high-efficiency and flexible customs support, customs officials said.

Under the new model, enterprises can now submit full declarations after summary declarations are reviewed, without waiting for goods to be released. This update improves planning flexibility and speeds up market entry, streamlining end-to-end import logistics for businesses.
