Shengzhou builds snack industry park to boost xiaolongbao production
Shengzhou's local snacks, led by xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), are now sold in over 30,000 stores nationwide. The xiaolongbao production line in Shengzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, can make a single xiaolongbao in just 10 seconds.
A snack industry park in Shengzhou brings together modern production workshops and local food enterprises to support large-scale and standardized manufacturing.
Branding and standardization have become key drivers of the industry upgrade. Six association-led standards have been issued, covering ingredients, production processes, frozen products, and store services, forming a structured system for quality control.
Shengzhou's snack brand building is also progressing steadily. Efforts are being made to standardize the look of Shengzhou snack stores, giving them a unified and modern appearance. So far, 6,254 stores have completed the upgrades, with average revenue rising more than 20 percent.
