'Anchang Golden Sauce' Festival kicks off with IP launch in Shaoxing

The main event day of the annual "Anchang Golden Sauce" festival series commenced at Anchang Ancient Town, Shaoxing, on Jan 16.

A key highlight was the award ceremony for the 4th Keqiao District Traditional Sauce Products Competition of 2025. Certificates and honors were presented to winning "Anchang Golden Sauce" producers, cultivation units, and recognized "Golden Sauce Masters".

The event also marked the launch of the "Anchang Golden Sauce" logo, which blends the town's historical scenery, traditional sauce-making artistry, and contemporary aesthetics. It will be widely used on product packaging and cultural tourism promotions, helping the brand expand into broader markets.

To conclude the festivities, the Anchang Golden Sauce Culture Museum opened to the public. The museum displays historical artifacts like century-old sauce jars and traditional utensils, alongside an interactive experience zone that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the ancient craft of sauce-making.

Moving forward, Anchang plans to center its development strategy around the new logo, supported by a public brand management system and using the culture museum as a key showcase. This integrated approach is aimed at deepening the fusion of cultural tourism and industry, ensuring that the millennium-old aroma drives the revitalization of the ancient town and boosts local incomes.
