The "Guangyin Skybuddy" cafe, created by a team of young entrepreneurs who returned to their hometown, opened on Jan 21 in Zhuwen village, Shangyu district, Shaoxing, quickly becoming a local hotspot. The cafe was transformed from a long-idle village granary, attracting over 2,400 visitors on its opening day. It now serves an average of about 800 customers per day on weekdays, with weekend peaks reaching up to 2,000.

According to Cai Yejun, the project leader, the cafe incorporates natural elements like rainforests, wetlands, and deserts into its industrial-style architecture, creating a multifunctional space for ecological experiences, leisure, and social interaction. He stated that the cafe is more than just a business — it is the team's first concrete effort to support rural vitalization, aiming to use cultural tourism to draw more people back to the countryside.

Building on this strong start, the team plans to develop a 24-hour youth art community platform. The initiative will focus on light industrial transformation, rural cultural tourism development, and youth entrepreneurship incubation, providing comprehensive support — including workspaces, networking, and exhibition opportunities — for returning young entrepreneurs to stimulate the rural economy. Cai believes that engaging more young people will bring boundless energy to rural vitalization.
