Located in the state-level Hangzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, it has a total planning area of 2.092 square kilometers, 2.007 of which have been developed in Phase I.

    Xiaoshan Linjiang High-tech Industrial Park was founded in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang province, in March 2003. In 2015, the State Council officially approved the upgrading of the park to a national-level high-tech industrial development zone.

    Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone (NETDZ,宁波经济技术开发区 ) was established in October 1984 with the approval of Chinese central government. NETDZ lies to the northeast of Ningbo, about 27 kilometers away from the city center.
